MiraClay (affectionately known as Miracle Mud) is a home-made blend of a special clay from the mysterious Cedarberg, Eucalyptus and various other essential oils. It heals most acute wounds (cuts, scrapes, burns) within 2 days and rapidly increases the rate of healing for chronic wounds, such as diabetic ulcers, venous stasis ulcers, etc. Great for cold sores (herpes), athlete's foot, insect bites, blue bottle or bee sting, bruises, etc. The effects are near-miraculous. Still experimenting with the miracle
I have been using the MiraClay for various ailments with varied rates of success to date. For wound healing I have not found it that potent - I have used it on deep cuts and hoped to see rapid 'knitting' of the wound, which has not really been the case. For insect bites it is excellent, though. It takes the itch away immediately and the redness goes as well. I tend to get a type of exzema on my fingers after exposure to dishwashing liquid which can be a bit painful, and it has helped with the discomfort and hastened healing. I have tried it as a face cream but found that it made my skin very hot and blotchy. I do have an extremely sensitive skin, though. We are using MiraClay at our Health Spa as well, but I am still waiting on proper feedback as to its effectiveness in various situations. I will give feedback on that at a later stage. MiraClay has however earned its place in my medicine cupboard, and truth be told now lives next to my bed so it can be close at hand. Even sometimes just for a sniff to cheer me up, as it smells so good!

Definitely deserves its name.
My son is using it on his chronic wounds as a result of a motorcycle accident 30 years ago and for the first time in years the wounds are closing and looking so much better. Nothing he has tried before this has achieved this result so far.
